AIVMS Home Automation. An add-in module
that enables
complete AIVMS control of your home lighting and appliances.
At least one home automation hardware kit is required to actually control
devices, but this add-in can be installed without a hardware
kit to review its operation. In addition to infrared and voice control,
AIVMS offers several network remote control solutions that interface
to the Home Automation module. Full automation system control from any
remote pc or a pocket pc is possible through AIVMS client
software such as the AIVMS PDA
Client or AIVMS PC Client.
Control triggers include infrared
remote button press from ANY remote control, temperature, keyboard key press, mouse
activity, GPS proximity, network action, and data thresholds
of both X10 and Phidget sensors.
Full scheduled events and
advanced Windows integration with familiar desktop shortcut
HA control.
The AIVMS home automation interface
provides "direct" click or touch control.
The actual interface is seldom used as AIVMS event
shortcuts provide powerful and easy to use home
automation control.
All home automation actions can also be performed
remotely with the secure AIVMS Client over a home
network or the Internet using either a PC or PDA.
AIVMS task setup. Here you define home automation events
that can run with any trigger, even an IR remote button press or
desktop event shortcut. You can link numerous
control commands to a single event, so you can adjust the
lighting of an entire home with a single action such as a
click on an event shortcut or press of an IR remote
button.
